Welcome to my site!

Whether you are here because you already know me, "by chance" or  just out of curiosity, I'm glad to have you in this space!

I'll tell you something about me ... I'm Ilaria, born and raised in Florence some time ago. Florence is not only in my genes, but also in my eyes since I was little .. I grew up on the right bank of the Arno and the first thing I always saw as soon as I left the house was the wonderful view of San Miniato .. a white dot perched on the most beautiful panorama of Florence, the solid and imposing Forte Belvedere with its protective aspect that stands out against the surrounding vegetation and the marvelous Ponte Vecchio, with those dream houses overlooking the Arno and its unique and intriguing walkway airplane.

All this wonder entered me, together with the unforgettable walks in the historic center, where my family and my grandparents made me discover the most hidden corners of the city! And so, in love with all this wonder, after graduating from classical high school, I decided to graduate in History of Art, then continuing to work in the sector, first in an art gallery and then at Palazzo Pitti, in the wonderful Galleria del Costume where I was able to participate in the set-up  of the clothes in 2009, continuing with the research on some fabrics of the Medici era preserved in the deposits. An exciting journey through the dusty inventories of the Uffizi and the National Library, which is waiting to be finished ...

But let's get to today! The experience gained in these different areas and the desire to "give voice" to my studies, led me to qualify myself in 2014 as a Tourist Guide of Florence and its province, a profession that I carry out with great love and passion!
